Factory Director's Rural Bride

Xia Yunfang was born in a rural village. When her parents planned to force her to marry a cripple in exchange for money to help her brother get married, she decided to run away to the city and seek refuge with her best friend, Liu Xiuxiu. However, Liu Xiuxiu, deep in gambling debt, tricks Xia Yunfang into being sent to a creditor in the wilderness, intending to use her to pay off the debt. Xia Yunfang fights back and knocks out the creditor, but due to the effects of a drug, she ends up having an intimate encounter with Shen Huai'an, the director of a textile factory. After she regains her senses, she realizes she has left her jade pendant in Shen Huai'an's car. The factory director decides to find the owner of the pendant and take responsibility. Liu Xiuxiu falsely claims the pendant as hers and attempts to marry Shen Huai'an. Xia Yunfang successfully lands a job at the textile factory, only to discover that the director is the same man she had an encounter with.
